next month I'm trying for update via actual camera instead of this x1 camera "phone" NOTE: no photo shop or color adjusting was done but each photo is a different color denim depending on how close to the window I am standing taking the photo, etc. still always fun times to post updates. Thinking about getting a pair of Kill City Salton Wash Black Spray jeans to alternate with these... we shall see!!!

Not much new going on with my 37's. Just washed them so the lady who does my crotch repair doesn't get mad at dirty denim. Hopefully my work schedule moves away from activities that involve mortar, grout and PL, so I can't start wearing these more.

PS those must have been shot at a weird angle because they look huge. They are only tagged 33, but still too big to be worn anywhere but work.

My LVC's have been confined to the closet for the past few months with the arrival of the RxC's These pics are starting to show the potential of LVC and cone, you guys inspired me to break my pair out and take some pics too.

I'm wearing them tomorrow and foresee more wear for these since heat & humidity is coming my way and these are my lightest pair (in color and weight).

Updates. Not alot of action lately. All my winter jobs ended ahead of schedule. I'm on serious couch-potato/house-husband/Dreamcast-champion status for now.

Our raspy old wool furniture has done some work though! Definitely coarse enough to keep seasoning up these jeans. Some more repairs are in order.

I just hit the 14 month mark, and I gave my 33s a very hot hand wash. I think it helped with the sagging in the knees and the butt, and they needed it too. They are not as dramatic as a lot of other contestant's, but I like the way they are progressing. The leg twist in the first picture shows how they actually are at rest, with the seam almost right at the center of my shin.

Also had to repair the crotch.

Wow, all really nice, all around. You guys should get some closer, more detailed pics of your repairs!

You guys, I don't know if I can keep wearing mine. I've just lost too much weight. The dust-bowl steeze is good to a point but mine are getting a little ridiculous.

they look amazing - how long did you wait before first wash?

glad you like 'em, and thanks everyone for the rep.

I gave 'em two washes right off the bat to get all the shrink outta the way and get rid of the bleeding (I hate having blue hands). After that, I guess the next wash was after 30 or 40 days of wear. Since then I've been going four to six weeks between washes.

I would love to see more of the repairs too, so here is mine. I wanted to avoid exactly what you are talking about, so I chose not to try the repair myself (my sewing is not great and would have looked too "rugged"). I had a local shop do it, and I am so happy with the job they did.

Nice fix, Ray. I don't mind the ruggedness of mine at all. Not in itself anyway, but combined with the burlap-sack fit they have now, it's all making me lose touch with them a little. I'll be able to keep progress on them around my place, but they're definitely relegated to very private clothing at this point :(

That does suck about the bagginess. I think I actually shrunk into my pair a bit, as they were initially a bit snug and I lost some weight in the last year.

But I didn't mean to make it seem like I disliked your repairs. I actually like them quite a bit, and the rugged look I wanted to avoid was a shoddy repair I did myself that would just fall apart.
