Thought I'd post some pics of my current pair of Evisu Raw (W42) large diacock.

They've not been washed or soaked and run a little big on me but that's how I like 'em.

Started wearing them on March 21st 2008.

Worn every day gently up to today May 13 2008

I'll post more detailed pics in the evo thread and run the risk of being shot down in flames !

I wasn't too sure about the big old Diacock but it has grown on me - I'm looking forward to when the fade on the jean is such that the paint is far less obvious. - an aquired taste perhaps?

why do they keep using that silly ass patch. I dont even know what to call it. is that supposed to be functional?

It's for when your at the bar and you meet a sexy chick and tell her to hold on, as your escort her out the bar to commit sin!:D

I'm really liking my pair so far. It's been a couple months maybe, not every day wear since both my job and school have dress codes, so the fading hasn't been coming along really. My only problem is that they stick out a little too much in the hip, but it's not that big of a deal. I'll probably do a second soak during the summer some time

this has happened to me occasionally with the ass patch just because a few random ladies found it to be unique and just pull me in and usually, it's easy to get picked up with this instead of you picking up a lady ;-)

img1352gp1.jpgimg1355uj3.jpgimg1356ss0.jpg nothing really going on. no hard wear only really around the house and hanging out mostly. Over the summer they should get a lot of work though

i love evisu but they take so long to wear in and get the nice colour fade im looking for... any ideas?

only to get 'em and wear 'em hard each and every day.

I read alot on hear on how things should be done to get the best results, trying to recreate these great vintage looks using certain soaps etc etc.

I reckon there's no science, they're just jeans and you just need to live life in them - period.

You reckon the old boys in their denim threads cared about getting the right fades when chopping wood or hauling shit around?

hmmm me neither.

Wash only when needed and forget about reaching the magic 6,9,11 or gazillion month stage.

Just get 'em on and get on !

Otherwise forget raw and go for a prewashed, distressed one.

So long as you like it that's all that matters.

I got myself some lot 0001 No.2's this morning again with the large Diacock (gold), the denim on this jean is something rather nice indeed. Not as hairy as the No.1 but a lovely texture and thick feeling too.

My choice now is which to wear in first.

No.2's or No.1's ?

I'm erring on the side of the No.2's right now.

Pics later.

the general advice for no.1 denim seems to size up 2. so if i´m a 34 in s710xx(the ones with the weird sizing)and a 32 in pbj xx007, my natural waist is 33. so here´s my question: would i have to go for a 34 or 35 on evisu no.1; 2000 cut?
