What are your jeans doing today?

My pics are terrible compared to everything else in this thread (taken on my phone), but I got my PBJ 13s and Quoddy Kennebec Chukkas out for a few hours of hiking with the pooch, Holly, yesterday and saw some pretty nice leaves just outside Salt Lake City.

As for the jeans, the crotch was getting pretty thin after 9 months of daily wear, so they're in the repair shop from today until Friday.

Lamb's Canyon Pass with Holly, right up next to the watershed boundary, ie no dogs allowed past that point (too hot to hike in jeans), last week:

Mt Olympus with Holly, at the saddle, after 4000' of climbing (a pretty taxing climb, so no jeans). Also last week. She was off leash most of the way, so with all of her excited back and forth running, she probably did double the distance that I did. :)

Other cool recent adventures include running King's Peak, Utah's highest mountain, roundtrip, in one day, without the dog, unfortunately. 30 miles, from 9k' to 13528' and back, which is too much for her. No jeans for this one because even running in lightweight running clothes on the uphills above 13000' felt like getting kicked in the chest by a horse with every step. I typically run mountains much more than I hike them, as I did here, but have done more hiking recently to take an off season and let my body recover for the next training cycle. King's is usually a 3 day hike due to the difficulty of the trail, but we left Salt Lake City at 3AM, drove up, started really early, and did the full roundtrip on a Saturday morning. Eating Twix on the peak, because sugar tastes good when running for a long period of time.582553_877361693025_2091109786_n.jpg

If you don't like my 1980s-era short shorts, too bad. :)

The real reason we came to Nuremberg was to pick up my wife's ride that she had shipped in from the states

Superb Foxy! Love the archetecture. Your lady's car is awesome, but I would've thought she could have found one a little closer to home!

She worked on this one before we met and before she relocated to Germany/China/Russia. Only recently she managed to get the car shipped over...

Here in Germany she in love with her second old timer - an old Fiat 500.
