Here are some pictures of a traditional Swiss custom during the carnival time. As can be seen it was extremely smoky, so it is not the best idea to put on your favorite raw denim but rather a work pant you can wash afterwards. All clothes smell like hell after the evening! Even the camera smelled smoky for a week.

Estwing. If you want one, be sure to shop in person and sight them square to the head. You can't go wrong buying them randomly, but the leather handled models have a tendency to be twisted or even crooked through the handle. Also, Estwing forging is hit-or-miss as far as appearance. These aren't practicality issues, but It will last forever, so dig for one that is true and straight, with nice symmetry to the forge.

Yeah, I love tiger striping. I have a handful of stuff, hammers, axe handles, etc. I can't resist it when I spot it. The Dalluge in front is the only one that would actually last, with grain perfectly parallel to the swing. Tiger striping is great but it usually comes with sketchy crooked graining that would split pretty quickly.

Here’s a city I never see on superdenim, probably because the weather is miserable for heavyweight denim most of the year- Miami. I took my new S0510XX 19oz for a walk to my favorite bar downtown for lunch. I know this thread has turned into the photography thread, but I’m not photographer, and these are Iphone shots.

Went to San Francisco over the weekend to visit a friend. Had breakfast at Union Square with my girlfriend. SF is great. Lots of good food, shopping and plenty to see. Looking forward to my next visit.

Went to the lake front.
