came back home and found my jeans covered in dog hairs and crusted saliva.

My Home made jeans and I made some Beer today. Its hot as hell here in SoCal so I made a Honey Weizen that will be perfect for 4 weeks from now when its even hotter. Enjoyed a nice read on the porch while I was brewing today. I used to brew every week but have been slacking since the kegerator died. Back to bottling. Still beats buying it at the store. Hopefully Ill get back into doing it all grain soon enough.

Smacked the crap out of that yeast packet to get it going.

Number one rule of brewing. Keep your Stuff sanitized.

Boiling the water.

Ingredients ofr an extract brew. Malt at 60 mins. Hops at 60. Honey after the boil.

Adding the Malt extract to make the wort. Not pictured, hops shortly after this.

Wort Finished. Honey about to be added.

There is no real end picture. I mean, I could take a picture of the bucket again, but on my trip to the bathroom just now I saw that I'm happily fermenting away about 8 hours after the brew. Love that active yeast pack.

Moreton Bay bugs! They're weird, like a crab with a lobster tail, but delicious. I guess that's up by Brisbane, now that I look at a map.

If I remember correctly, they tasted more like spiny lobster, kind of a crawfish taste.

jeans just signed a new lease! moving to a two bed two bath loft in a historic warehouse in early May, place is my dream come true, always wanted to live in a place like this! the fam and I are extremely excited. will take some shots soon next time we stop by to figure out furniture arrangements.

For the past week my jeans and I have been trying to build a fixie, and just a few days ago we finished it If i have to say so myself, It's beautiful.

It's an old Woodrup frame that I converted.
