I posted about these ages ago. I presume they are natural indigo.

Although at take5 they are 48000yen. go A/W 2007- eternal - page 2 - pic 29, they are called 877. No one reads my posts im sure. I posted about the somet black slims that are new at big too, thought they might be of interest. The most modern cut option for black japanese selvedge.

ive seen skulls, no i havent been lurking around the leather thread, and there is no issue really. i just know that wallet chains purpose to keep you and your wallet attached and out of the hands of thieves, especially if a 5th of the wallet is outside of your pants. such an easy to unsnap little connection sort of defeats the whole purpose to me. but i dont use one regardless, just an observation

Those remind me of the Sugar Cane 40400Ns - though the 40400s are not a flame-style pattern like the Eternals.

and btw the 872's dont shrink too much after their first shrinkage thats it..it wont shrink anymore and they stretch out easily.i say size own 1 on these up to you

I was in NYC for vacation this past weekend, and I went to BiG to have my Sugar Cane's hemmed and buy a new pair. Going in, Eternals were NOT on my radar. I'd anticipated buying Samurai's or Pure Blue's. I didn't find anything I was really crazy about, but as I was checking the store one last time, I saw the 872's. Holy crap, the denim just blew me away, I'd never seen anything like it. They're being shipped to me, but I'll post fit pics when they get here.

Noriko wrote the tracking # down on a business card, but I haven't had a chance to look it up yet (I've only been back home a few hours now). I bought them on Saturday, but they said they might not be able to OSX and hem my 'Cane's till Sunday. Worst case, they ship on Monday and get here Thursday or Friday.

And yeah, the denim was very stiff, and not the way Oni's or 19 oz. Sam's are stiff. Very crisp. I'm going to retire my Oni's and s510's for Winter to start on Edo Ai's and the 872's. The Eternals can take the place of the Sam's on especially cold days, and the Edo's will be great going into the Spring, with their lighter weight and color.

they are really wild looking, but seems to me that's how they should look after a wash or two and some wear. THe indigo shouldn't be as initially light as that in my mind, i love how eternals are nearly black.

I didn't actually buy any SC's from them. I took my 40400N and 40500N's to be hemmed and OSX'd. I bought them from Rakuten via 2000db, but Gordon kindly agreed to wash and hem them for me, since I'd bought Samurai and Oni's from them before.

I got the 872's with a 36 waist (only pair they had), and they deffinitley seemed like a true 36. They weren't hard to button, but they were too long. Noriko measured the inseam as being 35, and I had them take it down to 31. She offered to OSX them, but I declined. They're sanforized, but even if they shrink a bit, I can wear a 30 or 30.5.

Maybe the newer ones are sanforized, but not the old ones? Noriko was very specific that they're sanforized, and Yuji was sitting a few feet from her, so he would've correcter her if she'd been wrong.

I will admit that I was worried about this, but BiG also lists them as being sanforized on their site:

please double check on this cause on my pair the thighs shrunk a full size down the inseam shrunk a full 1 inch and waist shrunk like 1 inch and the butt area shrunk like 1 and a half size..
