45rpm

I can't believe this thread hasn't been had an update since October!

Alright well I have just received my first pair of 45rpm Jomon's and I must say these are the least impressive pair of Japanese denim I have ever handled.

Let me just start off with saying my expectations were about a 5 (Out of 10) and really anything around a 5 or higher is pretty acceptable. I'd rate these things at a 0 and I'll explain why.

I can't BEGIN to justify the pricing on these. From the second I pulled these out of the box I was wondering how they could even be REAL 45rpm's. They felt so thin and cheap! And they were lacking any sort of detail other than what standard 45rpm denim has. Then my next thought was on the color. Such a strange color! Like a weird light stone wash pukey blue. I swore for one moment they were a distressed pre-wash version. I just can't dig this odd light hue of indigo. Then it was the cut. They slimmed the thighs down on the Jomon's but kept the hem and the rise the same. So they not only look like a BOOTCUT (Very much so if I may say so) but also look like they are 2 sizes too small because the thighs are slim but the crotch (Front Rise) bunches up!

I'm just so disappointed. They are a bad cut, a bad color, incredibly thin (Compared to the 3 Nando Nando's, 2 Suminando's, and 2 Sorahiko's I've owned), and overall not even up to the same standard level that I normally expect of Japanese denim.

So my sad size 33 Jomon's are going to have to go. And now I find myself even wanting to sell my Nando Nando's. I've just lost faith in 45rpm.

So so sad.

I picked up a pair of the charcoal jomons. The fit is amazing and I really like the color. Does anybody know if they'll fade at all? Obviously all jeans fade to some extent, but are these meant for that?

I'll probably be keeping them anyways since they're so unique, but I'd like to know if its worth wearing these everyday for a year as opposed to getting something else for fading purposes.

I can't make a decision, i like both Sorahiko and raw Jomon's, both are beautiful jeans.......Do Jomon's worth the extra $400 price tag? Also should i get them though Proxy or buy them on U.S online store?

Also, where can i get the denim shirt online? i can't find them anywhere.

I think this is it. They share the very same item number (5036031) as the U.S store. I ordered mine though Hide 2 mins ago, very quick reply, answer my questions within 2 mins.:D
