Yes, the sample size I am wearing is a size 29.

Ultimately, I believe the generosity of this cut as a straight legged jean cuts into some of the initial appeal of the jean. Otherwise, I think it will suit many different body types and appeal to a much larger audience.

Also, for what it's worth, I'm a big fan of the new denim fabric being used for this jean…it has a more tactile feel and texture to it.

I'm not going to defend this jean, all i will say is...

If you are into Japanese denim, and into ANY of the lines that are sold by Self Edge, Blue in Green, Take5, etc..

Then you'd be insane to think this jean this isn't worth $270.

Granted, if you think the entire Japanese selvedge thing is all a joke and you're not into any of this stuff, then yeah.. it's not your thing for obvious reasons.
