Iron Heart Jeans

Those look nice shoque. I'd be very interested to see how they develop over the next several months; I don't recall seeing many pairs of the Triple Works on this thread, and I did a search some time ago because I was considering buying a pair.

pics of another pair (around 3 months):

I wonder whatever happened to the collab with Kiya; Triple Works/SE natural indigo + overdye jeans and jackets?

It's happening.. this summer, final samples should be with us this week.

Was this wallet rope really made by Iron Heart? I don't remember it.

It comes free with the 9634 jeans.

I love all the hype terms thrown into the eBay listing that have nothing to do with the product they're selling.

I just bought a pair of Iron Heart 634s from Self Edge. They fit perfectly. The quality of the denim is amazing.

They're my first pair of quality selvage denim. I considered APC, but decided to go all out, and get the Iron Hearts.

Good choice! Maybe ~2x the price, but they should last longer than 2 pairs of acp

Thanks. I think I made the right choice. Part of me wanted to be frugal and get the APCs, but I think I would've eventually upgraded to the Iron Hearts any way. Saved $155 by skipping the APCs. The Iron Hearts feel like they'll last forever.

I was also considering the Dry Bones SEXDBXS09 and 3sixteen SL100x jeans.

Just copped the Iron Heart windbreaker in black. I never thought I would use the words quality and nylon in the same sentence. But that's what it is: quality, cotton-lined nylon.

Having worn it on a few bike rides and being impervious to the typically lacerating wind-chill, I'm seriously considering copping the blue-grey one too!

Edit: Blue-grey one sold out. What do you think of this one? Same jacket, patch on front instead of print.

Thanks for the posted specs kiya, so from the measurement the SR is indeed a bit roomier in the legs than the S ?

Do you plan on having some post soak measurements ?

Iron Heart 634SR 23oz Anniversary Jeans

We're excited to announce the most intense Iron Heart product ever released, their 5th Anniversary 23oz Jeans.

They've really come through with something that's blown us away. For those that always wanted an Iron Heart jean but wanted it to fade with a higher contrast fade but still last near forever, this is it.

For Iron Heart's 5th anniversary they wanted a denim that trumped everything else, something so intense that it would take over 20 different versions to get it right. What we've gotten is a denim that's unsanforized, which is a first for Iron Heart, and is so heavy and rigid that we cannot imagine how amazing it will look with wear. The denim starts out as a rigid 21oz denim, once soaked the true indigo color really comes out and the post-soak weight of the denim becomes approximately 23.5oz, easily the heaviest fabric they've done.

For those that always wanted a pair of Iron Heart jeans and wanted them to fade a bit quicker and have a more intense contrasty fade, this is the jean you've been waiting for. These are limited to 400 pairs worldwide.

Full specs, hi-res photos, and measurements are now available in our online store on the product page. These will go on sale at 10AM (PST) on Thursday, June 18th.

Along with the Anniversary jeans we've received a restock of the very popular 301s/9301 Slim Jeans along with the classic 634s and both black and brown belts:

kiya, could explain the process that takes the denim from 21 to 23 oz by soaking? i heard this before, but never really understood it...

maybe i'm just retarded though

Denim shrinks when you soak it. But the denim doesn't lose fabric or anything, it just becomes denser. Thus, more weight over less area = higher oz denim.
