I love that Wildswans Wings in the natural color, it's nice and slim... I was looking at the Spanker II myself, but from some pics it seems a bit too thick, and obviously it's also a bit more expensive than the Wings... hmm... well, I'm prolly gonna use my BV wallet for a while longer and think about the Wildswan...

i think the WS wings uses different leather from their other wallets - i've never handled it so i don't know what the difference is. but it is ~Y10,000 less than all their other wallets. the spanker II isn't that thick, it flattens out nicely.

The production version has larger sleeve hems, which is kinds weird and almost made me not buy it. The fit is pretty standard, kinda long. The price point is not that bad all compared to other designers... it's not cheap, but it's not as overpriced as many others.

its just this season though, which is unfortunate since most of the main pieces have zips.... i don't know what the hell they were thinking.

i agree with the zipper issue on raf's pieces this season. one of the hoodies i tried on at barneys actually has the zipper seams ripped cos of the bad zip system itself.

Actually, this season I prefer the pieces without zip. I'll probably get one of the button coats, those are nice. The zip boots are cool, but they fit weird (or my feet are weird?) and yeah, too many risky zips.

how thick is the fabric on that banana republic shirt? i've been looking for one in green or black, but everyone is making them in a thin dress shirt fabric lately

its actually thicker than most cotton mili. shirts ive been scouting. not quite as thick as herringbone, but a good deal thicker than regular cotton dress shirts.
