so give me constructive criticism on a normal everyday outfit i'd wear which is something like this:

As a starting point for an outfit there's not much wrong with it, but nothing leaps out with a 'wow' factor in the slightest.

Wearing the amount of plain stuff you do can be a boon because it allows you to chop and change different accessories and layers etc. but I've never seen that in any of your WAYWTs... just +++Sweater.Tee.Jeans.Vans+++ every time. You're running the risk of turning into the low-fat, logo-free FAM0US.

It's not just that, there doesn't seem to be any aesthetic he's going for. You don't have to be "streetwear" or "goth-ninja" or whatever, but some items of your wardrobe should at least say something about why you like them, even if they don't grab your eye at first glance. Right now it just looks like whatever isn't in the dirty clothes pile.

There's only three types of people who still wear nova check... chavs, ironic hipster wannabes and millionaires. Unless you're rolling in dollar bills every night I'd lose the scarf.

Also match your leathers for god's sake.

I think the brown leather shoes w/ leather jacket is fine. But yeah, the hats + the burberry scarf screams "fashion victim". I really wish people would stop wearing those stupid hats.

you people are so random with your hate, way shittier outfits get loved on while this one is really not that bad.

Why must there be an aesthetic he is going for? Why can a man wear what ever the hell he wants regardless of whether it fits a mold?

If you read closely, I said that he doesn't need to adhere to an aesthetic, but it would help if some of his pieces reflected something about him or why he wears them. Right now he doesn't even look like he likes what he's wearing. You don't need a "costume" a la Milspex or Cotton Duck or Still, but your clothes should say a little bit more about you than "I have clothes on".

outfits don't necessarily have to be the "worst" in order to be talked shit upon.

I sort of do have my own personal aesthetic that isn't trying to be anyone elses, it is just basic outfits that could work in many settings, since I interact with many different types of crowds (friends, work, family, other social gatherings), so as you don't see me 'striving towards an aesthetic', i do have my own, and most of my fits are pretty consistant within it, minus a few... i will agree i do probably need to add a little touch of something more exciting to these, perhaps i should start adding my outerwear to the photos as well, but usually i take these when im inside for the rest of the night and i am bored...

I'll stop looking at the floor, it could make my sillouette better, but overall yes i know i wear fairly very basic clothing that most of the time fits well, mainly cause its easy to do on a day to day basis, and already puts me ahead of most people out there by just having my clothes fit... I'm not saying I don't need improve, i just always wondered what sparked alot of "YOUR FIT IS SHIT" mentality at what I was wearing... and it seems it is basically a bit too plain in general, and not exciting enough... which is criticism i can use....

totally agree here. it seems as though he is a reformed sneaker boy who is desperately trying to adhere to rather old and safe sufu standards/mediocrity....

doesn't homeboy constantly big up or try to rep hardcore all the time? even some of the mid-90's mothball goodwill emo-dorks looked more interesting or at least repped themselves even though their scene was kinda shitty.

uuhh, what is your aesthetic? i don't find it very "personal" because you admit that it is one that remains safe no matter what social setting or audience. not that this is a bad thing, but i would hardly call it an aesthetic.

doesn't constant struggle like tough guy hardcore? maybe you should dress like FSU dudez instead. ;)

donger, i totally understand. for instance even though you wear expensive shit, i can still sense the remnants/residue of punk/emohardcore...and i believe that this is a good thing.

constant struggle should wear more champion sweats..

hard to find a more awkward looking fit

I think this guy is naturally lanky so he needs to find clothes that suit his porportions better. It might be his pose too. From the way he is seated his pants look way too short. That in combination w/ the trainers makes him look like a nerd from the mid-90s.

My suggestion stand up straight, and if your clothes are still too short buy longer ones.

Also not a huge fan of the matching orange on the sneakers and t-shirt.

Learn how to use your camera then, it has a self timer. Use it.

Good suggestion. If you want people to judge your fit, you actually have to show them what it looks like. Sitting on the bed, makes your fit look two sizes too small and awkard as f***. Stand up and take the picture again, it may help, but no guarantees.

edit: I have to agree w/ other posters that your present fit regardless of how akward is still head and heals above your mcLovin fit.

The McLovin fit would have been saved by a tight undershirt of proper length (If I can see your wrist bones on a full length shirt, it is too short) and a descent pair of jeans.

those shoes are wack no matter what brand they are

Number nine hoodie

Undercover tee (forgot what season). I think it's from a season when the tags still said undercover (not undercoverism)

Fenom 5 star

Undercover purcells "we make noise not clothes"

that's one hell of an investment
