The Evolution of Jeans: Pictures, Scones and Tea

Yes, it's no doubt due to the high-quality pleather used. There's no indication as to country of manufacture, but it's probably Italy. Could even be China, for all I know, but the fabric seemed excellent when I bought them...a lot of character, even without being broken in. I'd like to get my hands on some Japanese ones.

@ maia... yeah, that belt is an old one; it's served me well over the past eight years. It won't mean anything, but it came from an outlet version of a store here in Australia called Marcs, which was (is?) part of the Oroton group...so it used to be possible to grab assorted overlooked leather goods at sale time. They also carried a lot of Diesel at that period, and a few pieces from Mahavishnu and Helmut Lang...got an Egyptian cotton HL t-shirt from there for $20 once. Those were the days..

Yo I'm in HK... going to Edmond up this place asap.

As for the hair and jeans, we'll see. They're taking a beating and probably will take a nice trip to the tailor to restitch some soft spots with poly/cotton thread... otherwise they will either be up for display or worn on and off until i find a better use for them.

I got some old fit pics of dem jeans I'll post here so you don't have to go searching...

Bee Hee,

Jesus.. Those 5010's are the best looking worn ones i've seriously ever seen.

I honestly didn't even think that was possible with that denim..
