The Evolution of Jeans: Pictures, Scones and Tea

I'm right at one year of actual wear on my MFSC 7161s, so I thought I'd post up some photos. These started out as one wash, and they've been hand washed about 8 times, and machine washed once. I wasn't going for high contrast fades at all. These jeans could easily go at least another six months, but they'll be hanging in the closet for pretty much the whole next year with the Roy contest going on. I adjusted light levels on some of the photos so they were all about the same, but no other adjustments were made.

And just for fun, here's what they looked like right out of the box

Iron Heart 634SB. Actual wear of about 4months.

Not much evolution happening, but it's coming in slowly. And Im enjoying the process. Just a few photos to share.

Colors are most accurate in the 1st photo. (I suck in taking denim shots, have no idea why.)

Will wash them tomorrow, and post-wash pics after that.

tsk tsk...is that a cell phone fade starting in the right pocket?

nope... it's a scrape from something that I've been trying to figure out for a while.. my guess is from lugging around a few heavy boat batteries.. but I could be wrong..

Loads of nice jeans again from knugget, duck sauce etc.

F380s, 1 wash at 17mo after the initial soak. This pair is being surprisingly stubborn. I had more wear into my Sorahikos by this point.

Pre/post wash pictures are nearly identical, so just posting post-wash:

These are also nice and funny how the whiskers look somewhat like honeycombs.
