Mizutani is usually 1-2 months in advance. Try going during lunch. $150 for lunch if i can remember correctly and $250+ for dinner, which isn't THAT bad considering it has a 3 star michelin rating.

thanks!

I don't buy the michelin ratings.

I've been to some pretty nasty 1 and 2 star places. But then again this is Tokyo.

Just got done a gokon at Nos in Ebisu.

The girls were Keio college students.

18, 19, 20 years old.

U know Japan is fucked up when these young girls are talking about their ex-30, 40 year old "boyfriends" with wifes and how they were shagging it up at their second-houses and then go back home to their kids and shit.

Fucking don't understand man.

One bitch used to date some 40+ year old boss at my firm.

She was 18 at the time.

My wife (who is Korean) went to a private high school in the US with a bunch of Japanese girls, and she was telling me how wild they were even BEFORE they were 18. When they'd come back from their respective countries after winter break, all the Korean girls would talk about the delicious food and snacks they ate, and the Japanese girls would talk about 'dating' old dudes who bought them jewelry and bags.

And it's not like they're even poor! Obviously they have enough cash to go to private school in the US.

i just told that sucker that he won't have any fun in the japland if he's trying to SAVE money.

lulz.

there are way too many things to check out. it's impossible to answer those generic questions.

examples of legit questions i can answer:

"Where can I buy a crazy bagjack x jap streetwear collab jawn?"

"good pink salons? preferably a place that does bareback BJs"

"where can i find retro video games and accessories in akihabara?"

"what's the potpourri at mr. hollywood?"

"where can i copp rirakkuma?"

"next level amekaji jawns ala nonnative, woolrich woolen mills, eg"

"where can i find an assload of robert geller"

if someone isnt too cool to help out like this girl i am keen to hear from you...i will ask questions one at a time then... also the point isnt about saving money its about not having the money in the first place cause i blew it on the fucking plane tickets...so i want to make the most out of my situation thats al.... so help out instead of being ignorant or just keep it to yourself.... if anyone wanted to know shit about melbourne i would tell them everything they need to know ...

question1 :

can anyone recommend the best places to be or things to see for new years in tokyo or surrounding areas?

I heard L'atelier de Joel Robuchon is much cheaper, better quality, better service than the NY one. Hope that saves you money.

Supposedly Tableaux lounge in Daikanyama is half-off when you show your student id. That should save you money.

Also, Rajio, have you been to the NOS http://r.gnavi.co.jp/g045628/map1.htm in Aoyama--I've been there a couple times but was wondering how it compares to Ebisu?

Never been to Aoyama joint.

I like NOS though, especially the pillow room.

I wanna do a gokon in the pillow room.

Great vibe and perfect date/gokon spot.

get wasted at nomihoudai karaoke. at 12am go to hatsumoude at asakusa. with 5 million other wasted people. get lost trying to find your friends bc you have to pee. walk back to hotel by yourself as the sun rises. fun times~~
