Vampy is right. Go for the Commando sole, preferably the black and heavy one. I got the tibet boots from last season with the light weight Vibram and I had to change the soles after one winter of daily wear, because they were done... (I am only weighing 135lbs)

Thanks. I actually got the same boot in tan leather for £25 BNIB off eBay a few days ago, Was the hottest recorded day in UK for 6 years so nobody else was bidding on winter boots...

Hello friends Plaisantery here with a question about Oakstreet Bootmakers boots do I get Vibram sole or not? Same price of course also I am kinda short (5'8'') so I don't know if Vibram will look like I am trying to look taller (can't tell how bigger the sole is)!!!!

Vibram sole will probably make you look taller but not much moreso than the other one

IMO vibrams add a pop of contrast to the bottom similar to a white sneaker sole.  More street, more casual

traditional sole on the right pair will make it more classic.  Probably more versatile but I would personally buy the one on the left.
