i was @ lendo's last night, and i must say he's not really a slim-fit guy, but he is looking more comfy with this FH fit over time. you should've seen the dogs beefin' over this plastic bone. i was about to place a side bet.

Salaami speaks the truth. I was a bit iffy on the fit initially, but i have grown to love them. Makes me want to get a pair of the 1001's, as i would still prefer the button fly.

Tuesday-Thursday

Here's the rest of my 2nd week with the jeans. Got a lot of photos and i want to keep the updates rolling.

Kicking it in the office early morning style w/ the other driver who shares my first name. He's a funk & soul dj, former b-boy and all around good guy. He's interested in Japanese denim and is familiar w/ SESF. I'm going to try and convert him at some point.

never really had any problems. the company i work for has a lot of very loyal regular customers, and being that i work days i'm not doing a lot of random pick ups of folks we don't know.

have had to kick a few people out of the cab,but that's about it.

So week 3 started with something know as "Xmas", a holiday celebrating the birth of a Jewish Zombie.

As the only semite working at my company, i was working...

..sort of.

I drove through on of the "rough parts" of town.

I believe this is Gilpen Court.

The Sacred Heart Cathedral. The only time i've ever stepped foot in a church was here, for a full on Catholic wedding. I was very long, there was much standing and sitting done. Dead languages were spoken & sang.

A little more Monument Avenue. Jefferson Davis, the president of The Confederate States of America.

As a side note, i can't think of any other place where the losers of a war were allowed to be memorialized as war heros. Welcome to the South.

Later, i went back to the office and decided to juggle some snow balls...

..only to remember i don't know how to juggle.

My awesome lighter resting on the FH's. This was brought back from the Green Zone in Iraq by a friend who was enlisted and a photographer for the US Army. Obviously some 3 times poor translation on this. When you light it the bombs light up.

Crazy sculpture on the side of the big police precinct in the heart of the city. I kind of wish that it could shoot lasers out of it's eyes.

So here's what the end of my xmas day was looking like

The next day, pretty much all of the snow and ice melted away.

The muddiness that is my back yard. (sorry to disappoint everyone who thought i lived on a farm or in a logging cabin )

Threw on some clothes for the funky weather and went for a walk with the dogs.

The bane of my existence as a dog owner. People throw their chicken bones everywhere!

the airport. Airport trips are usually pretty nice. Good fare, and many times good tips. Good times. This place used to be a little rinky-dink airport. It's finally starting to look like "something". That something being, a modern airport.

Back to my first picture, over the course of my day, i drink many a cup of coffee, and smoke many a cigarette. If i had only kept in mind the valuable lesson from the following video.

Thankfully, there was someone who could help me.

This is Ms. Zoe. Fancy lady, former bait dog, and all around wonderful coffee shop regular.

She gave me many kisses, and we chilled on the couch for awhile before her cute, somewhat hippy-ish mom & her went on their merry way.

I was so out of it that day i spilled coffee on my shoes, twice.

That was it for New Years. I worked 12 hours, and was really beat and pissed off by the end of the day. Ended up falling asleep on my couch at some point & woke up @ 4am. Screw you 2009, you didn't deserve a proper send off anyway.
