i never got huge into vaccine but they played at my brothers birthday party a few years ago. this summer we were in iceland and one night when we were getting back to our hotel the guy at the front desk looked at said brother and goes "is that a jerry's kids shirt? you know vaccine are playing at a bar around the corner?" the show also featured icelandic shoegaze heavyweights oyama and icelandic speed grind dual vocal hardcore heavyweights manslaughter's big reunion (apparently) and was at a bar that had a giant pool table outside that you stand on and kick soccer balls into the pockets. vaccine remembered my brother and gave us copies of their tour 7" and then didn't get drunk with us because they're straightedge and old and were driving around iceland or something, so we ditched out and hung out with a pack of 17 year old icelandic girls because they're the only ones who haven't left the country or had children of their own. anyways, vaccine, solid bros, backed hard, iceland too
