Watching Brandon Roy play right now... he's special. If there's two young players who are not greatly well known yet for whatever reasons that are going to be leaders on championship caliber teams, its brandon roy and tyreke evans. There's a bunch of talent around, brandon jennings, devin harris, brook lopez, gallinari, etc., but I don't think that they have the leader/winner factor, at least not at the same level.

But even if LA is out for a bit, no one (barring perhaps oden!?) who's on the IR is currently looking at an injury that's going to hold them out of training camp next seasom (nico/batum may even be back mid jan.) So given that they have the possibility of coming back strong next season I'm all for this whole underdog run they've been on. Give the younguns/bench loads of minutes, develop as a ballclub and don't keep too close an eye on the wins and losses. Fuck a playoff run, I'd be happy just to see Pendergraph and Juwan banging dudes up like they did tonight for the rest of the season . . .
