with plongin and felix: last night, soy bean "pudding", and milk, and some oyster vermicelli i think, as well as some deep fried greasy dough sticks.

ooooo.....brewerkz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i used to work there!!! hahahaha....

u havin the wheat ale or......??? they brew one of the bestest ales in singapore man!

especially durin october!

great stuff Felix - looks like you've found all the right non-fish stuff to eat! yeah ramen is the new dior homme.

dude, it's tao huey, and geylang. and geylang has no "streets", only "lorongs". i guess you've spent too much time outside of singapore :)

btw....cafe iguanas nearby is of the same company. at least a couple years back.

anyway, the quesadillas there beats brewerkz! be sure to try it out!

thanks for the recommendation - my friends either hang at brewerkz or iguanas so it's only a matter of time before i'm there i guess.

gotta love the katong area for great food. so i've moved, but i'm still an eastie at heart.

Lemak chilli padi (coconut and pineapple gravy fish with small red-hot chillies)

and Dad had the beef rendang (Indonesian-style meat dish)

Lunch at secret pasta place (which is soon moving outta my 'hood! *sob*).

Seafood spaghetti, fusilli carbonara, garlic bread and er, poh-piah washed down with ice-cold Singha beer...

edited it for you, and it wld be cool if you did the same.

they do have their own name for it: cha shu. don't forget ramen is really just a japanese interpretation of chinese noodles.thats all.
