Pistachio donut from Balthazar. Might be the best I've ever had.

Small cake donut with a very subtle amount of finely chopped pistachios mixed into the batter. Light glaze of white icing on top to hold the nuts in place. No pause.

Went to Grüner today in Portland with thomas_collins at the suggestion of M.O.A and N.M.F Pretty damn good. They have 3 flavors of soda that they make in-house that were quite tasty. Flavors were Ginger, Lemon, and Elderflower.

Started with fried smashed fingerling potatoes.

Got the hasenpfeffer for the entree. Rabbit soup. Ginger soda on the left.

Marionberry jam filled donuts.

Bing cherry tartelette.

Great dinner. Thanks Portland!
