at Ma Maison (this began my month long theme of eating at japanese-western places)

salmon salad roll

japanese "clam chowder" (essentially miso with butter)

sakura ebi wafu pasta

beef stew wafu pasta

tofu cheesecake (but the one at Sun with Moon is much better)

japanese ice-kachang with chestnut, red bean and mochi

yep that was dragon fruit indeed, we have both varieties the white flesh and dark purple variety imported here. she's not a professional chef but has competed and won several amateur cooking contests more than a decade ago.
