MFSC 7163, Denim Utility Trousers

Found this on another forum, the seller got this few years ago but never wear it before. Arrived with tag.

Can't you just tighten the wrist straps ?

That doesn't shorten them, just tightens the sleeves.

But with the cold rinse it worked out very well. The jacket got a bit of a rugged feel and it shrunk only a bit, but enough so that the sleeves have the perfect length. A beautiful fabric, I like the linen/cotton combination a lot.

shrinkage is about 1/2 inch all over. could do with a little bit more in the sleeves - maybe give it another rinse tomorrow.

tailoring on this jacket is amazing

update:

gave the jacket another 25 minute warm soak spin and line dry. there was no further shrinkage. slightly disappointed as the sleeves could lose up to another inch.

guess I could hot soak but I don't want to damage the leather trim.

It's a Borsalino . I think it's called "weatherproof line " or maybe waterproof . The writing has worn off the hat . I love this hat it really helps me complete my "Daniel Plainview" look. Thanks for the + reps .

I actually saw him the other day at First Fridays here in downtown Richmond. Such a rad guy.

those are the "rider 2". they originals came without, but the chino, midnight, and second generation oki came with suspender buttons.

ok, i went to check it up, the one you had now is a type ii (as jaspar also stated in his sales post), the differences are probably the pull tab lining and a slight higher rise, with also the suspender buttons.

oh yeah... its the best pair of jeans one could ever have.
