Both are 80 single stitched, I edited above post, but yeah, from the point where you'd buckle the belt to the middle hole on the 80, it's about 82cm. For the 85, the first hole is about 82, meaning you'd have four holes to let out. The 85 would be too big I think.

hey i have a question about the 21 cm. I have never tried on the 21cm and I am wondering about the fit compared to a couple other jeans. How big is the difference and hopefully no one tells me 2cm. Are raw diors in a 21cm a slim fitting jean still? And are they tappered? I wear a size 33 in imperial dukes and the fit is nice but i don't like how big the jeans are from the knee down. I can post a pic if neccesary but when i wear my dukes and tyr to get soem stacking on them they bunch up on one side and look kind of goofy. I know most people don't like the 21cm model but I am wondering what kind of fit it is compared to my imperial dukes

They may be slightly wider at the leg opening then your dukes. However, i personally really like the 21cm's. They are straight slim, with no taper. If you have a place to try them on i would recommend it.

The 21cm are perhaps one of the most perfect fitting raw straight legs ever. Slim but not too slim, and the darting helps nail the rest of the fit.

Oh and guys, the indigo Silver Selvedges are very nice. They're slightly lighter in color, with a lighter weight but tighter weave. Fades beautifully, and only about $80 more. (Yay price increases for raws and not for selvedge, I guess).

I know right! My black selvedge raws from last seasons were 400 and now the indigo selvedges are only 395.

Are the MIIs assembled in Japan or something like that? I just bought a pair of the 21cm Bruts off of eluxery and I was suprised to see 'Made in Japan' on the tag.

^the 21cm that eluxury has is the mij model, you can tell by the price. i know it list them as made in italy in the description, but that is incorrect.

It uses elastane instead of polyurethane like the Dauphin. So it out stretch out, it will kinda snap back, giving you a slimmer look if you do size down one.

I think for the "Under my Car" I will stick to my usual size for distressed Dior jeans which is 28. I had to get the Dauphins in 27 just because they where already damn huge in the waist when I tried them on first...

Hope the jeans will be available on luisaviaroma soon! I think it is a great wash, I can even forget about the missing clasp...

I thought elasthan was a bit more durable than polyutherane, but it's pretty much the same thing; stretch fabric made out of rubber. Just like lycra, spandex, dorlasthane, etc.

You are right, of course that stupid new button won't keep me away from buying the jeans as long as the wash is cool and the fit is great.

I always liked it because it was a little bit special and I think I am not the only one here.

my homie who works at dior told me it's beacuse a ton of people were complaining about it breaking, and trying to return them. he also said it's mostly due to people who shouldn't even be wearing dior trying to wear them. haha
