anyone can vouch for their wide cut that it’s actually wide? 13” thigh doesn’t seem as wide. 

The hem is particularly wide. It’s goes straight down. So basically it has no shape. I have the hank dye pair and is a light weight denim, so it just falls down.

Still playing with the cuffs, but I think they’re just about dialed in. I’m glad that I went with the wide tapered fit. Wide without the taper would be too much for me. 
I really like these, and am looking forward to having the black version of the same fit.

Has anyone kept tabs on this brand..?

I haven't but i proxied a pair for someone years ago and i do remember they had quite an impressive line up of denim offereings.. cinch backs, chinos, salt and pepper deck trousers ect.. now they're MiJ and they only offer 3x different pairs or jeans with a pre-distressed option in the same cut..

“Today, while our production is based in Japan, every garment is still hand-finished in our UK workshop, ensuring the integrity and craftsmanship remain true.”

I’m not sure exactly what the hand-finishing part entails.

Sold my wide fit pair, I couldn’t make friends with it.

I visited the shop , workshop 2 yrs ago, looked like it was set up to do all the work there.

a while ago I tried to visit their website /shop. You needed to be a member to go to the webshop. 
so I let it slide.

also had or have the denim chino, was trying to find it the other day ,might have chucked it . After cutting the hem to short.

I think they had a big sale of their older stuff, like 6 months ago maybe? I remember individual sizes of the wide leg jeans being listed on the website discounted like they were clearing stock.

They used to sell a nice looking gansey knit, made in Suffolk I remember being tempted by. Feel like things have been on the slide for a while now though.
