TIP i cosign DDML, nice focused collection and vintage fade on the APC's. 3 pairs of jeans is the magic number for denim a guy's wardrobe, and you nailed the selection (i know my own collection goes against this rule, but 3's still my ideal...)

get a pair of unwashed dark indigo jeans and break in the whiskers yourself is the best bet. Those jeans are already distressed, there's not gonna be any additional whiskering of significance.

the tab is gone ... i have also seen japan-repro's without the circle r ! this is a original: patina on the rivet's, no numbers, it feels old, it's from ebay.com ... the best thing is: the leather patch is soft and unbroken - i love this jean :+)

Genuine question: Could any of the LVC fanatics amongst us share just what it is that fixates them so? Is it because it's an authentic repro, the Levi's original paraphernalia (be it branding or the cuts / aesthetics), the romantic connection with Valencia St. with the early LVC stuff, the nature of Cone denim, made in USA etc etc.? tia.
