serge - thats a great collection, i love these pics because you get to compare back pockets sizes, somets look nice...

i dont know why more people havent bought the redmoon jeans, slim with a nice patch - whats not to like?

Hi Viv,

I checked the redmoons in Take5 HK and didn't like them:

1. The leather patch is huge (something like 15cm x 10cm!).

2. I don't like the backpocket pattern they use.

I did liked the overall look and feel of the denim though.

Yeah, John Varvatos. They are black selvage jeans. I think they were the first. I don't like how you can see the bottom of the J-Stitch when the jeans are worn, it makes them look really feminine. That is the problem I find in a lot of "fashon" jeans.

Varvatos wasn't the first black selvage -- I have a pair of Gucci black selvage that date back to 1989 -- great fade.

yeah....in my early-sufu days when i was trying to ebay me some denim, i would always...always...get beat by thinkfilm...

pretty much every pair i found, he was bidding on..

hah...then i discovered the supermarket :D
