You should sell 'em, but maybe on the bay, because you already posted the original price you got them for ($390) and not your current asking price of $530.
I have to neg the dude for that....

thats true - but I paid $70 shipping to AUS... however I would glad offer discounts based on shipping.rates being lower from AUS.

^ Same here, waiting for the burgundy (or horsey) to come out so I can combo with navy. Kyle said around September...

Wow! That is some really cool grain. I have two pair of Yearling craftsman and love them. Very comfortable and a great value for a whole cut boot.

Not surprising you went for something so unique :)

Yeah, the value for money is pretty spot on.

I had a look at the few dozen leathers that were available, and could have all of them made into a craftsman for a reduced price (except the crocs & the emus), so I thought why not something special & distinctly Australian?

Interestingly, camel leather is usually quite high end - as in, found on $$$$ ladies bags :P

Sneak preview of some Lofgren shoes that John at Speedway is releasing later this year - welted construct, made in Japan.

Engineer boots and work boots in the works too :) Can't wait...

The leather looks great, and I'm looking forward to seeing them wear in. I think they might look at their best with a slimmer pair of jeans, though, the Roy x Cone demand something chunky.

zakurie, I love the russet look of the MOTO - altho I suspect they've actually seen pretty restrained use.

I'm seriously thinking about buying a pair of Alden Rough Roy boots. I really want the regular Roy boots in brown leather, but I can't find them in a size 7E.

So my question is, can anyone help me find some pictures of the Roy Rough boot worn in? I haven't come across many. I always find the leather verision worn in, or brand new pics of the Rough Roy.

Thanks in advance.

TheNorthern - those look fantastic! I agree with Davichan's recommendations for laces! :)

CTB - those C&J's look great - are they are roughout??

These arrived just before we left for the cottage - they're breaking in nicely up here, although like the original Context Roy boots, they were like butter right out of the box! ;) I think the 2 Roys are my all-time favourite Aldens...
