because raw, at least in our community, usually results in heavier, thicker denim than say your average pair of express jeans

Yeah, I did vote #3, I wear jeans year round. I'm in Los Angeles and the temperature never hits any sort of extremes.

I'm sure there are a number of 11 and 12oz raw and one wash jeans around. Probably perfect for the weather.

haha, been from 95 farenheit to 114 where i'm at with no AC and i'm still rockin the raw denim. For all you Europeans that is 35-45 celsius. Today is a cool 85 though, so got a little break.

I've worn RRDS through several summers. My Atelier's have made this summer easier due to the relaxed fit. I have a friend who bicycles in dry black Thin Finns all summer.

I wore denim round the tubes on friday, way to hot, I thought wearing my baggier pair would be more cooling though, i find tight dark jeans are very very hot in the sun.

I wonder if it affects ones sperm count.

I have to wear jeans for work and it really isn't fun. I like shorts during the summer, unless it dips down into the 70s and there's no humidty, then it's jeans.

Yes. Since moving to the South, when it's in the upper 20s or low 30s (85+ for the Americans) and humid as all fuck, jeans are just plain uncomfortable. Cotton snopants are the way forward in summer.

actually hot humid weather is the peeeerfect time to break in raw denim, sure it smells more but the creases will come in darker once u do your 1st wash. The humidity in the air will place those creases for you each time u wear it. Your creases will come out dark. It will also give you some crazy honeycombes. dont miss out this summer wear your raws & one wash. By winter you will have the best lookin ish around.
