It wasn't meant as a slur on anyone who does collect denim/ jeans, just that I don't. I read and collect comic books, while other just read them....same thing really.

Hell yeah, no slur, each to their own but collecting seems a bit pointless to me, unless you are planning to sell them.

Collecting real vintage jeans would be cool, I suppose.

I know I would do it if I had the money. But as it is right now, I buy one pair, wear them until they aren't worth repairing anymore (1.5-2 years), and then retire them. Rinse, repeat. No other pairs in rotation.

But if I had some more disposable income, I'd probably have far too many pairs

i try to keep myself to getting a pair of jeans every 6 months to a year.. i want results in my jeans, and wear, and i don't want massive amounts that i've worn 2 times and then don't care about anymore.

now this doesn't count jeans that have been worn to shit that cannot be worn in public anymore lol.
