I thought some of you guys may find this interesting, especially those of you in Japan.

Some denim-related stuff has been cooking in Japan's seedy online underground.

Denim Project has basically been some users from 2ch, Japan's giant and ridiculous anonymous message board, working on making jeans. 2ch jeans. They've been pretty much completed and reservations seem to be being taken (Japan-only, I'm sure). I've been following it off and on for a while and for some reason didn't think to post about it until now.

Here are some pictures. I'll just show some of the more major picture sets. You can see the rest by browsing through http://tinyurl.com/ql2ys. Note that I am using www.tinyurl.com because of long Japanese URLs.

I have no plan that sell dirty wash products and non wash Jeans.

However If you really want to buy our Jeans from USA(Sorry I do't know well that your hometown.), I may be buy Jeans to you.

Non wash Jeans is 12,400 Japanese Yen. About 110 US $

However I don't make dirty wash Jeans now.

If I'll be make Dirty one, I want to pay about 20,000 Japanese yen. About 175 US $ + Shipping cost from Japan.

I just upload new picture of dirty wash jeans.

Hi Denimproject welcome to Superfuture. Your work looks excellent, great construction. Much respect indeed.

I noticed your patterns hanging up and saw a couple of things you might be having trouble with, the wedgie syndrome and sewing the inseam. I hope I am not butting in, excuse the pun. I learned this small detail about a year into the pattern making process and is invaluable.

The crotch point intersection of all four peices is best when cut at 90 degree angles, thus eliminating the crotch coming to any kind of nasty point when sewn together and having a smooth line of stitching through the inseam. Also you may want to add a slightly deeper shape to your front and back curves which will eliminate any sort of 'wedgie-ness' in your cut.
