what is considered a medium and large? Sizing in Neal Cassidy shirts are numeral sizes. My chest is 35.5" and I take a 15 in those. It fits quite slim. I would suggest to take at least a 16

I agree with Speedway's recommendation. You should go with large/16. After wash, the chest measures about 53cm.

Somethings not quite adding up?

In ref to the 16/L Speedway give chest at 55cm pre wash. Wild One give chest at 54.5cm post wash all other sizes given lose 2cm or so after a wash apart from chest.

Snake if you are saying the 16/L is 53cm post thats good enough for me, that would be perfect. Order will be sent today.

If SLAB tells me his BR cpo was a 36" then all boxes are ticked.

My size 16 white pepper measures 53cm pit to pit. Using speedway method is 52.5cm. Hope this helps.

I bought them raw. I prefer raw over one washed. I machine wash them cold on hand wash settings. From what I remember, it took two washes to get all the shrinkage.

Snake, nice find on the Dust Bowl and Engineer pics. Both look great, although the jacket is not a great fit on that model's small frame. Looking forward to pics of the Dust Bowl in Auburn.

8-9cm shrinkage on the waist and 9cm shrinkage on the length seems a little excessive to me, so I'd be a little sceptical about those measurements.

shrinkage looks excessive but they do calculate use of a dryer as well so who knows, could be about right. But since most of us will not throw denim in the dryer, their comparison of pre and post wash is not very usable. If really not sure, I'd just go for the washed version, that way you are more likely to end up with the correct measurements.

The one wash model only comes with 32 inseam. The raw model has a 34 inseam.

Mirrorball has measurements and shrinkage info including hang dry vs using a dryer.

There's also a 601xx 1939 model coming soon. It does not have a cinch. Not sure how different it is from the current 47 model. It does have a lightning arc.
