Thanks for the heads up. I should've done more research before committing into film

Just stick with negative vs slide film--slide film is beautiful but expensive and getting exposure right is more difficult.

 

Portra 400 is my go-to negative film.  Fuji pro is nice as well. TBH you can get good results from drugstore Kodak film, and it's a good/cheaper way to start.

Light painted this with a light that attaches to my friend's video camera. A poor mans strobe if you will.

So you're saying multiple shots while moving the flash around? Nice.

I see why you would think it's multiple exposures stitched in PS based off the strobe comment but in reality the person holding the light would run around the car while I had a ~30 second shutter.

On my little olympus I have a gordy's hand strap, for my fuji just what it came with. I'd like a lance camera strap but I keep spending/saving my money on other things

I'm using a D800 Nikon strap on my cams, its the most comfortable strap I've used. Takes almost no room in the bag and cheap as chips. Most of the popular straps these days seems more like a fashion statement.
