Nothing monumental here, but I hadn't put up photos in a week or two so here are some randoms...

This is an awful photo, but I was a bit drunk when taking it sooo...So friends of mine were in town from Tennessee and we were at a local dive bar in downtown and the train runs by the front of the place. Well we saw the train rolling by so we grabbed our beers, ran out, and rode it a mile or two to a place called Ybor City where we were going to meet some friends anyways. Pretty fun...

Color and B&W (the ilford mentioned a few posts ago) from the autocross i was at this weekend

nothing epic. and composition is off most of the time

I have a few more - but i dont wanna get yelled at for posting 347384783 pictures.

the grain was really present on those black and whites.. =\

That's one of the rooms in the Olafur Eliason exhibit recently (still?) at MoMA. So yes, the room was lit up in all those colors. And they were moving.

edit: but yeah, those are a couple of particularly nice captures. There's something even more magical about those still moments than I actually felt in the room when I visited myself.

crops are no good

lighting is flatter than a board

even when the models are looking at cam, no connection at all.

looking at them again, wow the crops...

I agree on the crops being weird, where you chose to cut off just causes a strange tension to me.

Light is a bit flat, the 3rd photo has a somewhat type of monster light going on and that just doesn't make anybody look good.

maybe its just the scan, but im not seeing a definite black or white in most of those shots, not counting the one with the nails. could use some contrast adjustments.

i just got an epson v500 so im trying to figure it all out still. but thats the best im getting so far from them. im not sure why though. if anyone has an epson scanner with some know get at me.

or is there better 3rd party scanning software

It was an old 80s vw jetta. nothin about it was stock though, had a VR motor, hella turbo, runnin on rails - there was like, no suspension travel at all haha
