  2. Motor New Vintage Old Baggy Denim Trouser in 30. Preordered them months ago after I fell in love with their shoes. I've learned from a post by @Hopethisoneisnttakenthat these are TCB's. I checked with Moto and they confirmed they were made for them by TCB-Inoue. These are super fun. No way I'll be able to tolerate the suspender buttons, so they won't be daily drivers. Still prefer the rise in FC 0105. I love the patch.

  3. As probably many of you already know, but for the ones who don’t, Roy is selling off shirts and denim from his personal collection today at noon. He set up a separate IG page @roysjubilee, and if you’re interested in an item you have to email him directly at [email protected] lots of shirts, denim, pants and shorts

  4. Put in an order for the #41) Brass Button Jeans. Roy was remarkably prompt in his response, and I shall be mailing him a check shortly. Having a few days to gnaw on the idea of the offerings before buying was very appreciated. Wish I was able to afford the Collect Mills Indigo shirt, but whoever gets that will have lucked out. Beautiful things for sale. Feels like the last time something like this is going to happen.

  6. Today Second Sunrise here in Stockholm hosted their third annual denim market, this year was very special though because Hajime and Ryo from TCB had flown over from Japan and had a little pop-up inside the store. It was just a great honor to meet both of them and have a little chat, such cool and kind guys with a true passion for denim. Hajime was even kind enough to sign my 505s. So thanks to both Second Sunrise and TCB for making it possible for us denim nerds to meet some of the people behind one of the best denim brands right now, it was truly amazing!

  15. When I was a kid, we spent around a week each year at a family friend's cabin up in the mid-Sierra, off of the 108. It's on a (dammed) lake, so plenty of swimming, fishing, exploring, etc. Over the span of the 2010s, the lake got more and more crowded, and I focused my spare time less and less on frontcountry. Around 10 years went by without me visiting. Anyway, this summer we got an invitation to go back. I'm taking a few months off from work, so time isn't as much of a commodity for me; and, anyway, there's something going on with the connective tissue in one of my knees, so backcountry hiking is off the table for the time being. Cabin trip seemed perfect. Spent last week laying low, playing board games, sitting + swimming + fishing by the water, working on fixing up an old pair of Cane's…lots of fun through and through.

  17. I was able to snag #20 the well worn/faded short sleeve chambray and #45 sack pants. I’m super excited about both but mostly the sack pants since Roy never released any of those.

  18. Kyotos arrived today. They’re in even better condition than the photos suggested. They seem to have almost no wear - nice and hairy, very minimal roping and seam puckering, and blueberry in color. The patch still has the batwing too. I just wish that they had an extra inch in the rise. It’s been a bit since I have worn anything less than 11”. I will grab some fit and detail photos when I get the chance sometime in the next week or so.

  19. J1W-GT and SP38-M are back in full size runs. What were once quickly headed for being sold out creating the classic FOMO for those questioning whether or not to purchase are now back in full stock. ACRNM2.0 has officially arrived in full force. Can i get a restock of the good stuff please E? I’d like the J28K, J43K, J1AS, and J63PB. I don’t mind settling for MiC.

  25. Wts: P41-DS Schwarzrot Medium 7/10. Only rating them 7/10 due to a stitch that popped on one of the quick release pockets(see pics). Easy and cheap fix from a competent tailor. Includes bag/spec. Asking $500 Paypal F/F shipped USPS Priority CONUS. Invoiced/outside CONUS will be extra. P10-S Black Medium 8/10. Minor patina that always looks more apparent on stotz in the pics but much less so irl. Zero fraying, pulled threads etc. These are the last iteration of the snap waist button style, 2016 iirc. Includes carabiner, no bag/spec. Asking 750 PayPal F/F shipped USPS Priority CONUS. Invoiced/outside CONUS will be extra. I feel like these are both priced fairly but am open to offers/trades

  31. channeling my inner @Double 0 Soul with these s601xx. They’ve been worn hard and abused at work. Many hand repairs that are now coming undone. Washed on hot and tossed in the dryer so much I’ve lost count.

  32. Pardon the quality of the photos. They are screenshots from video. So yesterday around noon my dogs started freaking out. I thought a coyote perhaps, but when I looked out the window here's what I saw... After a moment of disbelief, thinking where did they come from & how did they get here, I went outside to take a look. Apparently I seemed untrustworthy & they wandered off to the far end of our property. Luckily our fences are decent, but they really didn't seem like they wanted to get out. So after making some calls 911, & getting a referral to Animal Control, someone came around & checked the ear tags. Not long after the owner showed up. He asked if I would mind driving his truck & trailer while he went in on horseback to bring them out. Would I mind?? I've been waiting all my life for an adventure like this!! Here's the rancher guiding the cows out to the road. Initially I had thought the plan would be to load them in the trailer right there but apparently cow behaviour requires a more complicated procedure. This consisted of getting the cows onto a neighboring property where there is a corral. The white car contained Mrs CSL, coming home from work btw. On first attempt rather than going to the right, the cows veered off to the left into the wrong gateway which luckily was closed. After this I was instructed to bring the truck ahead of the desired entryway & park in a position that would guide the cows in. The second attempt was successful the three cows were herded a ways back on to that property to a corral. The next operation was to get the cows into a smaller corral & back the trailer up to that gate, accurately so they animals couldn't get tangled in any gaps around the trailer. Once this was done, the rancher shoo'd the cows into the trailer, and then loaded his horse. Then back to Chez CSL to drop me off & we were done. Kinda blew my day but it was a fun adventure & I learned a few things about cows.... And I came home to find my Fullcount 30th anniversary jacket had arrived, so a good day all around. 37. Some of you will think this is the most illegal thing to do but i think they turned out great. Long story short, i rarely ever wore these tcb 50s since they are too big and i have another pair of raw's that i'm fading. Since there are no light wash selvedge jeans i tought why not try with these since i dont use them. I tried 4 cups of bleach in a bathtub for 3h and it did absolutely nothing so i ended up pouring 2L of bleach in there and did that two times. Time will tell how much damage that did. But i will wear these more now.
