Can't recall it was ever decent. Style.com is/used to be way better. Details was/is a disaster. As was complex (it is even around?)

Also probably a perverse lack of self-confidence that causes me to overcompensate by exceling in other aspects of my life and boasting about sexual/monetary exploits (or lack thereof) on a fashion board viewed by thousands of anonymous users to make me feel better.

I think the best thing I ever read in GQ were anything not fashion, food, music related like some random article about Jamaican Posses.

sometimes you start to think L.L. Bean is #menswear but then you open their catalog to the first page and it's sandaltown.

Was GQ (US) ever remotely decent?

I met a girl who's part of the fashion department and she said she can hook me up with shoes as they are lying all over the showroom, but she could only name Armani and Gucci off the top of her head. fail

it's like playboy "for the articles". The fashion advice is trash but several of the articles a year are a good read. Don't know how i can actually say this since I have yet to read a GQ in about 4-6 years.

lol i feel ya but from an urban planning standpoint they are terribly designed, and the fact they had the balls to call them the "Boeheim Embassy" after destroying artist studios is pretty ridiculous

Oh, not in those joints. I'm in the ones ON Sudbury. I do know a couple of people there and in comparison to what I'm paying, they're dropping crazy loot.
