im not 100% sure if it was true about the grip thing but the reasoning behind it is that you need to cock the shotgun after shooting anyway so a grip doesnt help (vs using it on the other shottys) all that much i guess.

cocking? the grip just increases accuracy i.e the spread of a shell over distance. I've been using the spas a lot this prestige too, that and akimbo glocks. nassssty.

yeah it resets but those two at the bottom of every gun page don't. those are prestige challenges and they last throughout.
