My friend sent me this recently. The amount of pretension and excess in this video makes the Précieuses look like Quakers. There is a certain point in this thread where people are just fishing for shit to hate on. It's really an unoffensive outfit, and if I didn't know what Hood By Air was I'd probably think even less of it.

I think I know what spaces is on about. The outfit isn't the hideous frankenstein monstrosity of some wannabe fashionista with either psychotic tendencies or just no sense of decorum, but it is a shit outfit. It's shit because it says nothing worth hearing again. Technically, this isn't the most insane outfit thread, it's the 'worst' thread. What 'worst' means is going to be subjective.

Ok you're right, that relatively simple outfit with good proportions/fit and nothing particularly wrong with it apart from a few apparently somewhat trendy items is the worst outfit I've ever seen!

edit: what's so trendy about? It features a barely visible supreme shirt(?) and some shirt that says fuck on it which I don't recognise. Seems less trendy than the average current sufu waywt.

if you think all slim-jeans fits are 'chill' and passable.... well c'mon man. that's a similar problem with most of the waywts on this board too, with all-black/monochrome/slim fits. the "best waywt" pics are so safe/minimal/boring that there's nothing to pick apart, and the "worst waywt" pics are so bland that people feel compelled to give the "well... it's not THE worst" defense... and all it does is invite all these piggybacking "me too" pseudo-elitist assholes with all-black lame basics (and copycat tumblrs) to believe they got style/aesthetic all figured out and perpetuate this middle-of-the-road fuckery

shit is an eyesore, style and concept-wise. not sure why the photographer bothered snapping such a mundane pic on the street in the first place. lil' fuccboi up there tweeting in the street snap doesn't have any unifying concept going on.

it's not that supreme and hood by air couldn't go well together... it's definitely possible to mix them, style-wise, with the right pieces.

both are cult/underground streetwear brands with this great subversive/provocative aesthetic... and pretty much all of that is pretty much lost in that outfit.
