The main work is done by my father who also studied horticulture. But he's nearly 70 so I help wherever it's needed. Cutting lawn, water the flowers and cut the hedge.

The 'cosmetic' work and all the knowledge of course is done by him

I am shocked to not see 12 foot high cannabis plants. They would blend in so nice with the other flowers!

You are allowed to legally grow up to 5 plants for "personal use" in the Netherlands.

And more to the point, that is a fantastic looking garden. The landscaping looks great, must have been a hell of a lot of work (I end up getting roped into working landscaping from time to time, I should know).

Friday was a calm day. I met some friends for BBQ and after that we went to the cinema to see „Inception“.

First my GF and I made a “Nudelsalat”.

The ingredients:

As I announced yesterday this update deals again with a 25th birthday. By now you should know the custom.

Again a girl celebrated her birthday, so again the “cigarette packets chaplet” (The same one as before. Who would smoke that much?!)

The chaplet got carried through the city and the neighborhood

Some were too lazy to help and went by bike

So did I…

Always a good plan to carry some beer&booze along with yourself
