is size 30 your true size? Or is it your sized-down size?

The waist on dukes tend to stretch quite a bit. So long as it's not too tight at the thigh, you should be fine.

uh im not sure what my true size is. i fit a size 30 in slim jim. i MIGHT be able to squeeze into a 29, but it would be uncomfortable.

29 dukes was a bit tight in the thighs, and it was a little difficult to bend my knee.

Get a size 30 in the Dukes if you want a super slim fit, if you want some room to move around get a size 31.

Here's some fit pics and measurements to help you out:

My true waist is 31 and I have 31 Imperial Dukes. Trust me get your true size. I have the raw black and they are amazing. They quickly became my go-to jeans since I'm wearing more black, white and gray. Dope.

Strictly for imperials what washes them best? Light detergent? Just water? I have read the appropriate threads but i want ot know what others have used...any Aussies know any good products available in Oz? Mine have been going strong for about 6 months and with access to a bath right now i want to wash them. Thanks :)

there's no need to pamper them too much...I'd just use something that smells OK (like Cold Power or similar) and hand wash in cold water. You're probably only going to wash these four or five times in their career (if that), so at least leave them smelling nice. Both my Kings turned out well after their wash (at around 9 months each)...I'd peg them up with the waistband stretched out quite tightly, too. Unless they've been getting too loose on you. Mine shrank up by about an inch at the hems, but remained the same around the waist and hips.

Hi guys,

Ive had a pair of imperial kings for about 5 months now but have gotten very little wear or fades in them i dont think creases have even really set in

but the waste has stretched out a fair amount

is it ok to soak or wash them or will that ruin its potential to fade

if so how should I go about washing them

Thanks guys
