Been picking up Pendleton shirts from vintage stores of late. Also have a couple of chambrays, one by albam and one by nudie.

Love vintage Pendelton shirts, but they are a little scratchy.

I see you are in London. There's a cool store in London that sells choice vintage workshirts. I think it's on Earlham street.

Do you mind posting some pics of the fabric itself? Sounds like a neat project... I'm trying to find the time to learn this stuff, too.

^^^^That shirt on eBay is very similar to the Flathead Wabash shirt in a way. Clearly different detailing but still.

where does your tailor get his chambray for the shirts? Is it a typical fabric store or does have some "ins" with some mills?

I am having trouble trying to find some nice quality chambray.

Nathan gets his selvage chambrays from a few wholesale suppliers. I'm still running a MTM group buy on the shirts. PM me if you are interested. There are a few selvage color options, loads of non-selvage colors, plus hickory stripe.

I have never had luck finding decent chambray or denim in any of the local fabric stores, even the independent ones.
