I understand this thread is a bit of a laugh, (It made me smile) But why do these woman act this way? Are they imitating something from pop culture?

i.e. models (i'm not taking runway) in North America act sultry/sexy because that's what society projects as the ideal female archetype vs. Asian see cute all day, so they think that's hot?

Is this cutesy stuff wide spread, or do they tend to outgrow it past high school? Somebody with some first had knowledge needs to break this down for us.
