I posted pictures and links to the denim four pages back. There is information readily available, all you need to do is look.

BiG isn't going to talk to SDA because that's a decision they are making and I agree with. I understand that we want the most possibilities but why get into major talks about having a company design jeans with you when you might not even chose them.

BiG is looking out for our best interests and they are doing all of the leg work to hook up a nice pair of jeans for a really really good price.

I guess the 15.7oz denim is not new because it is currently being used in other Fullcount models. I really wish Gordon hadn't provided a link to these jeans, I like them better than the 0105.

Anyway, this is what the 0117 looks like. It's Fullcount's 1920 model.

lol. sorry dp. i've been following this thread post by post i totally misread what you posted and thought you were just talking about their 1920 jeans.

everyone should add in their list of customizations that they want.

i want:

-hidden arcs(or hidden whatever on the back pockets)

-reinforced crotch

-BIG, SQUARE front pocket bags. i hate those slanted pockets. everything you put in slide towards the middle and it fades retarded. i need space for lots of things.

-poly core cotton threads....i want these jeans to last.

cant think of anything else right now.

lol. im getting ahead of ourselves right now.

thank dp and mr. invinciple for their time and efforts in the creation of this contest.

will someone please take some initiative and be like, listen, were just getting fullcounts..

40 Hands is right. SC is out of the picture because we don't have a good provider for them. They won't be customized and the inseam won't meet what everyone wants. I realize that 58 people voted for SC but I don't think we'll be using it, sorry.

If it's ok with everyone I'm going to have Cotton Duck close the poll and rename the thread to "Official 2009 Fullcount contest". FC is our best option with the most versatility.

I hope this doesn't upset or alienate everyone but I know that these jeans won't dissapoint. BiG wouldn't do that to us.

ohh AN, I'll ask about hostage release demands.

Mega update:

- Gordon gave the go ahead for the the green selvage so the threads will go into dying this week, we went with a bright green as opposed to a darker one which might become even darker with wash and wear.

- The owner is going to send pictures with options for buttons, rivets, thread colors and thread thickness/size so we can customize the jeans to our liking in that respect. He’s cool with the idea of self painted arcs and can include a cardstock template if we want to go with that idea.

- He’s leaving it up to us to come up with a patch design. He told me before the FC name is a baseball reference so I asked him if he had a similar interest in cars or bikes and he said yes that he had a ‘53 pickup at one time (not sure from which maker) which coincides with the model year of the 0105’s. He’s cool with anything we come up with so we don’t need to limit ourselves to any one theme, in the end we can submit some ideas and get his opinion to keep him in the loop.

- Gordon is going to send me measurements for the 0105 tomorrow and then i'll post those here.

- Gordon suggested selling the FC contest 0105s like they sold the Warehouse contest jeans. Through BiG and open to anyone. I think this idea works really well because it could ultimately make them much cheaper for all of us.

"Fullcount rarely does custom jeans of this sort so I was thinking we do something really special and customized but not too over the top, keep it classic but bold. There’s still more things to work out but I think this is a start." - Gordon
