Yeah, go ahead and soak them now and get em ready.

There are multiple prizes being given..

T-shirts from Sufu, jeans from Self Edge, and the famous JimmyC has generously offered up a prize from his printing/design business, Tattoo Productions: http://www.tattooprod.com/

The winner gets 36 one color printed tees of their choosing, any design you want.

i would say for those impatient people (me) they should end the contest a month early or just let em wear their jeans. Either way, ill just say i didnt start wearing my jeans until april 1st (april fools)

Kiya do you think the cut of these jeans looked best hemmed to your actual inseam with no stacking?

That was my original intention, but they don't look half bad with stacking from iGit's fit. Although I would only consider 2" of stacking.

I'm glad the contest doesn't start till April, going to wait a few weeks for them. $400 CDN right now for these with chain stitching. Ouch!

since I've never had my jeans hemmed and chainstitched through self edge's service before, does anyone know approximately how long that takes?

I was told that if you get them hemmed and chainstitched, they would be sent out within 6 days of your order.

get if done regardless. a good chainstitch is priceless. although i must say its wack as shit that if i buy jeans from SE online, i have to pay extra for them to hem, as i bought the jean from SE. or if i buy a jean at a discount(in a fucked economy) i gotta pay $15??? now i see why so many dudes in CA stack they shits. in japan, if you go to a denim store they'll hem your shit on the spot for free, if you bought the jean there. when i order from BIG online, my shit comes hemmed to perfection, for FREE. don't all respectable jeans come with a chainstitch anyway. c'mon folks...

I think you're missing one very important part.

Chainstitching is FREE if you buy the jeans in-store, but we offer free shipping in our online store regardless of where you live. It costs us between $10 to $32 to ship a package to EVERY customer. We can't afford to give away free shipping AND hemming for online orders, so we charge for hemming if you buy the jeans online.

But once again, if you buy the jeans in-store you're hemming is free.

The way we do it over 50% of our customers are saving money this way because the hemming is cheaper than what it'd cost getting the jeans shipped to them because over 50% of our orders are international.

maybe people should get discount on chainstitch if we live in the States, since shipping cost would be cheaper for you

lol come on guys lets be realistic....the jeans are $275 (a steal already not to mention all the work done to make it possible) with free shipping and you still want a discount?!?

haha, . I am just saying, in theory it should work like this. Since it's cheaper to ship within States.

I know you all like my shirt, haha was a christmas present.

Props to my man Chris Lee for the photos, Kiya and Dry Bones for the denimz, and Jimmy C for the patch.

Hope you all like the photos. For reference that's a size 27 I'm wearing.

Better yet, be taller and you won't need hemming.

Edit: NICE panda! You planning on doing a warm soak or anything? It's pics like that have me damn close to copping.
