As long as you enjoyed them. That's the important part, I wasn't trying to be a douche:)

no particular order but i'm a fan of the following beers:

samuel smith imperial stout

samuel smith oatmeal stout

chimay (any color is great)

hitachino nest white ale

anchor steam

www.ratebeer.com for those who haven't been yet.

the russian imperial stout is great too. kind of peppery.

i tried this stuff a few weeks ago. it's pretty f'ing strong, 2 of those got the job started. every afterwards tasted like water.

i ended up getting ripped off though - $6,00 per bottle. ended up seeing it for almost 1/2 the price in PA this weekend. that's the last time i purchase high end beer at a snobby brooklyn been boutique.

regardless - thumbs up!

^Jealous.

I'm thinking of finally starting the beer thread in superculture, since we can't get this one moved out of the dungeon of superlists. Would you all prefer the title "Beer Connoisseurs" or "What are you Drinking Today - Beer Edition"

I tried to get that at the brewery. They said no more for years :( Just out of curiosity what was the price on those?

$14 ... if you have the hook ups, or $23 at Monk's Kettle.

The monk's kettle pricing sucks, but it's always around. I actually think Oud Geuze Oud Beersel at Monk's Kettle is one of the niceset sour ales I've ever had. And, and $12/bottle, it's a bargain for that place.

Thanks! Perhaps also at least change the title to state YOUR beer, drinkers?

Hops always reminded me of sappy Christmas trees. They have that resiny goodness, sounds delish!

i know y'all wanted the title changed too, but in the spirit of what happens after downing a few gallons-worth of hopwater, the hilarious typo must stay.
