I don't see how Down to Nothing, Modern Life is War, and Crime in Stereo are not hardcore bands... to me punk and hardcore is one in the same, not one of those bands is a "mtv hardcore band"... Just cause its not mid 90s vegan straight edge mosh metal doesn't mean its not hardcore... These bands, their diy ethic, touring, the shows they play, what they sing about, yeah tahts not hardcore at all, just cause its not a NYHC sunday matinee at cbgbs with Merauder, SIOA, and Vietnom.... If you havn't been to shows in the past 5 years, then what grounds do you have to say about what is or isn't hardcore, you sound like the bitter people that say hardcore died in 85... such negative people

well, LOJ is pretty awesome ( i think i've seen them 5-6 times), so you like mostly the fast thrashy stuff huh, anyways, i think all of that is pretty good as well, and equally as hardcore... i don't like most bridge9 bands and all of that crap... or half the bands jocked on b9board... either way i'll take this discussion out of this thread, its not the correct place
