if they are supposedly from 08 i would definitely say it's fake

from what i've seen, the size tag was only placed there in early early models, and from the pair i had from SS03 (since sold) the sizing was EU sizing (i.e. 46, 48, 50) and did not have the japanese letter

i actually still have the pics:

dior looks fine to me

only thing is the little thingie that says paris on the back of the neck

looks like it's there, get a pic of that and you're good

I´m not sure, don´t think so. Look at this jacket, up for sale on diorhommebuysell.blogg. The tags dosn´t seem to be same? The refnr is same as the original I think but the other tags for an exampel the size tag.

I'm not sure what to think of this. A bunch of people on the MSN buy/sell group think it's fake. The manager of the Dior Homme boutique in beverly hills says it looks real. I'm getting some mixed answers here too. If it's fake, I'm going to send it back. What's the verdict on this one?

This jacket is fake as hell. Just look at the silk material from the tag. Completly fake

Also size tag and Dior tag are totally different fabrics too.

And Store employees often dont know shit about the stuff they are selling. Had the same problem with a Dolce&Gabbana fake once when they did not want to approve that it is fake when it was very clear....

items from that user are fake fake

plus, don't they ship from Hong Kong despite saying item location Tokyo, Japan?

although they look similar, as you said it's too easy to fake. here is the item picture from Japanese store Why-Lip (legit)

01.jpg

by the way, you paid way too much for that. you paid more than double japanese retail, which is already marked up

azita 100% legit! teimaz = nice guy!!

@ironman sorry, but I need your advice. opened a dispute at paypal and that's the sellers response:

dear sir, the one you showed me in the website is a longer version of the necklace. and my one is a shorter version. the actual length is in the description. the item is 100% authentic and i have the invoice from my ann demeulemeester shop. item is originally shipped from Japan and repacked in our hong kong office to save shipping charge and tax. original box was sent with the necklace, i do not understand why you said my box is not authentic. if you keep thinking my necklace is fake, please visit your shops in your areas and compare with the one you believe it is authentic. also, i do not mind you to let others shop take a look to the necklace i sent you for checking its authenticy. in additional, you can take it to ann demeuleseester head office to check for its aithenticy. if anyone of them say the neckalce is fake, i will do a 100% full refund after receiving a 100% brand new return necklace. also, i do not mind you to take the necklace to the police station for checking it authenticy too. you can check my feedbacks and comments from other buyers, i am selling 100% authentic goods. i hope you can understand. thank you and have a nice day. please let me know your answer as soon as possible. thanks!
I compared 2 other necklaces that he's selling with the legit versions:

If they're fakes, they're really well made I think!

What should I write in response now? Should I really trust him, if he says that I can send back the necklace to get my money back?

EDIT: Also wrote a email to AnnD now. I wonder how seriously they'll take it...

got this shirt from the marketplace a while ago

i realized that the circle R is above the wash information and not the actual logo. rest of the stuff seems normal though. has this been the case with anyone else?

dsc1957.jpg

it's like that on the older items. i recently sold two of my older items, from Red (SS02) and Reflection (AW02). here's the tag pics from my old sales thread

the items are merely "good fakes", trust me.

lol @ take it to a police station and repacking it in hong kong to save shipping cost. what a wanker

1. it looks fake (all in the details, material, construction)

2. shipped to you from Hong Kong when stated in Japan, without warning; liar + sketchy as hell. i've had retard sellers say custom made, listed in Japan, then the item comes from Hong Kong, and they're all like, "oh i can't register my eBay account for Hong Kong" wtf liars

3. just read his retarded reply, fake sellers always say dumb shit like that. yeah, cops will know. or better yet, fly your ass to Belgium and get Ann herself to check it out for you. wtf

4. it only comes in one size necklace and one size bracelet, don't believe him. what i noticed was the one he sold you seems longer than the bracelet but shorter than the necklace. mad flop

----------------------------------------------------

so here's what you do:

do not bother replying; DO NOT TAKE HIS WORD FOR IT. if you agree to ship it back while in Dispute, he has NO obligation to refund you. raise it to a Claim, and choose the option that you will only take a full refund.

hopefully you won't have to bother getting proof and shit, and if he doesn't want to lose the money AND the item, he will agree to the full refund if you send it back, but at least it is now official in PayPal Claim history. you then ship it back to him WITH ONLINE TRACKING (VERY IMPORTANT), and when you see that it got back to him successfully, you should get your money back automatically by PayPal. sometimes you have to e-mail PayPal to tell them to hurry the fuck up and refund though, as they work slow. very slow.

after all this, you may want to leave him negative feedback on eBay anyway, as he is a fraud. i mean, it's all fine and dandy if he was selling it super cheap, but he's making mad profit off you. for example, the wood and leather necklaces are really only about 50 euros retail (remember, it's more expensive in Japan due to import)

Thanks a lot for your help, ironman!! I really appreciate that! I was stupid myself to pay that much for the necklace. Usually I make price comparisons, but I never expected that this necklace would retail that cheap, so I just didn't bother to bid a high price.

Did I mention, that he even sent me the necklace in a wrong box? (the box itself is 100% aithentic), but just the wrong one:

http://homepage.swissonline.ch/faye/annd/P1040363.JPG

http://homepage.swissonline.ch/faye/annd/P1040364.JPG

Current situation: I requested a invoice from the seller and he sends me this picture: http://homepage.swissonline.ch/faye/invoice.jpg

This is just bullshit! First he says that their items are shipped from Japan and repacked in his HK office, and then he sends me this invoice from the AnnD store in HK.....

BUT now I've got a even bigger problem: I have also contacted the official AnnD sales representative in Belgium personally and sent her some very detailed pictures of the necklace.

Result: She had the pictures thoroughly checked by their jewellery expert and despite the wrong box (because that's not proof enough) they came to the conclusion, that the necklace is authentic, but just sold to me in a wrong box!!!! (no joke!!)

She said that it is the bracelet version, but knotted as a necklace. I tried to persuade myself and shortened the knot to the bracelet length on the Japanese page. This is the result:

http://homepage.swissonline.ch/faye/P1040379.JPG

As you already said above, it is still longer than the bracelet.

So if even AnnD officially says that the item is authentic, what proof do I have to show PayPal?!?!

Shall I raise it to a claim anyway and hope that they don't want any proof? Shall I contact AnnD again and tell them their jewellery expert is a joke?

if you want to believe it's real by all means just give it up and take your big loss

but the fact remains that by lying at all, he lost credibility.

1) yup, the address on the invoice is in Hong Kong. he lied big time. plus nothing stops him from buying real items and getting them replicated (which is what i think he's doing)

2) if it were real there's no need for him to send it in a wrong box, as each item comes with their own box. not that it really matters, but i have the SS09 wood and leather pea pod bracelet, and the bracelet box is tiny as hell; i would have no point in keeping such a small box and giving away a bigger box

3) whether you trust the SA or not ("jewellery expert"?), fact remains he lied and said it was a "shorter necklace version"

he wouldn't have to keep lying and lying if it were legit, would he? you really don't have much proof. one time i made up proof because they wouldn't accept real proof lol. email proof isn't enough even if they agreed it was fake, they want letterheads and shit, it's ridiculous

just raise it to a Claim and hope he doesn't want proof and will accept the return, and pay for tracking. it can in no way harm you to raise it to a Claim. if at the end of the day you forget about it or he wants proof or whatever and you cancel, you can still leave him negative feedback lol

i can't find my earlier post but i know that seller is a fraud. he's made a few accounts on eBay because he got some negs saying his shit was fake so he made a new one, but the sale thread template is the exact same
