Love the title of the article with "Bizarre" in it. No more bizarre than the schools run by the people in the US in the book, The Game. Yet because its in Japan it must be "BIZARRE" lol.

i really don't see how a small operator could make a living in the japanese pornography industry. nothing against aniki, but by his comments he does not strike me as an individual who knows how to do biz with japanese. think about shit, why would porn companies work with someone like him? if he tried doing shit on a semi-networked level through the underground or independant-like he'd have to pay tributes to various gangsters, but i don't think they'd work with him. he may be slangin that porn, but it def is not enought to fund a living in tokyo if he is at the scale i think he's at. it is possible that he dubbs shit straight from the source and ships overseas, but just how lucrative can that be? mad competition. hongkongers and the thai have got the porn mail order industry on lock (have so for years). so unless aniki has some really big and OG southeast asian connections, then shit is probably just his hobby. not sayin it's a bad thing.

anyway aniki, if you read this no hate, but i just don't understand. pls let us know alittle about your operation. it's not as if you're at risk or anything.

Cops wipe out large-scale illegal porn ring

Two people who run an illegal pornographic DVD sales operation that netted them about 10 million yen in sales in a little over two months have been arrested, police said.

Arrested for possession of indecent images with intent to sell were Hitoshi Watanabe, 28, a video store operator from Kimitsu, Chiba Prefecture, and one other person whose identity has not been disclosed.

Police also seized about 27,000 porno DVDs from the pair.

Police said the specific charge for which the two were arrested involved their possession of seven illegal DVDs in a store and about 27,000 uncensored pornographic DVDs stored in preparation for sale in an apartment in Tokyo's Toshima-ku on Feb. 14.

Police said Watanabe had a catalog of pornographic movies which he left in his store and would bring DVDs from storage upon receiving an order from a customer. Police have not found any equipment for recording the movies, so they suspect the illegal porn ring was run from somewhere else other than Watanabe's store.
