So what exactly happens after you place an order? I contact a relative (the cousin who brought me to the market where I purchased my own WB-1s) in China who purchases the shoe and sends it directly to you. I pay my cousin a flat $5 for the shoe and her efforts; it’s a little more than the average $4.40 (Â¥30) the shoes cost. I figure she should have a little incentive to keep the project going and it keeps the accounting simpler on my end. I also reimburse her for the shipping, subtract the PayPal fees and deposit all the profits into the WarriorShoes.org Wokai account.
