Uniqlo F/W 07.08

Recommended Posts

thanks for the updates guys....

quick Q- which one is the "duffle coat" (the one with the hood)? are the coats thick enough for winter? im lookin for a nice warm winter coat

saw this article on highsnobiety today... have they finally released the whole collection, or at least the majority of it?

The picture I posted is the duffle coat. It has a hood, I guess I missed it the first time.

There isn't much out yet. Some sweaters and cardigans but only 2 or 3 jackets that look like shit.

There isn't much fall stuff..they're constantly getting stock. When I stopped by ~ noon time yesterday there was only 1 type of cardigan, at around 3 or 4pm that same day they got a shipment out of a different type of cardigan, one that came in 4 diff colors..

I'm probably going to stop by today as well to see what's going on and buy some more tees + what not..

Attention fellow NJ-ians:

Uniqlo has a FULL shipment of the fall stuff. It's still in boxes as of today. Boy, we're lucky this shit won't get eaten up like the nyc stores.

No, shit? The nyc store had nothing out today. Do you know if it will be out in jersey tomorrow?

I called Rockaway, they said it should be out tommorow, but it's probably close to closing, and if they still have it in boxes, I wouldn't expect anything.

maybe? I picked up a number of scarfs and gloves that were certainly not last season. they're gorgeous coats, at any rate.

I called them. The coats are last seasons and some other fall stock is even older. They have no control of what they're getting. Did you really think current season coat would go for $29? I know they are nice, they were a steal at $49 and you got a great deal.

People seem to think uniqlo is like supreme or something that collections and clothing is gonna "drop". Sorry thats not how a major retail store works.

I went to Uniqlo in Rockaway last weekend, they said they are going to be only an outlet store, when I asked if they were getting the new season in, they said they will get it, but probably not for a few months after...

I love having it 20 minutes away, I need to size down to a small in Uniqlo though, that is crazy :\

Please, this shit is cheaper than dirt. Why wouldn't we want to jump all over it?

Alterion, you're half right. Things do "drop" at major retail. They're set shipping dates for certain pieces which for instance may be considered transitional fall pieces (buy now wear now). I don't think anyone in the store with the exception of maybe the main manager will know what may be allocated to the store each specific shipment.

However you're right in the sense that there's probaby so much volume comming into a retail store like Uniqlo that to know what exactly might be included in a specific shipment would be next to impossible.

Can anyone provide a quick rundown of the new shit at the SoHo store?

I wear a 34/35, usually, and I'm wearing 31 dry deadstock from there now.

2 or 3 new cardigans, some v-neck and crew neck merino sweaters and few ugly jackets. There is a cool nylon zip up jacket in nice colors but that's pretty much it.
