Thai Levi's Fakes

Another pair of Thai Levi's 501xx, still, I wouldn't say it's fake, it's a repro, it's not copying any specific model of Levi's. The leather patch and red tab are terrible but the denim is really nice. I also like the linen pocket bags. I don't know for sure if these are made in Thailand.

It's clearly a fake because it is ( again ) clearly state that it's a Levi's when they don't have right to do so.

Unless the manufacturer got a license to produce it though.

I'm skeptical about their authenticity. They're small e 501's with a zipper? Is it even possible that they're real? There is no care tag, it's been removed. Thanks for any help.

They're absolutely not LVC. LVC has never produced a model with bartacks and leather 2-horse patch. THere is a vague possibility they could be a recent generic reissue as the arcuates are like those on current models - but they are definitely not LVC as the buyer claims.

(That, incidentally, is why you got them for $35).

These day, Thai Levi's fake comes in unsanforized 20oz version, for about 130 buck. i'd love to try those some day.
